What is Eid e Mubahila?
The meaning of Mubahila: is to curse and bid'ah on the other.
25 Dhul-Hijjah is the day of the great scarcity of Islam. On this day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) quarreled with the Christians of Najran.
عید مباہلہ کیا ہے؟
عید مباہلہ کے معنی: اس دوسرے پر لعنت کرنے اور بدعا کرنے کے ہیں۔
۲۴ ذی الحجہ دین اسلام کی عظیم کمیابی کا دن ہے ہے اس دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نصاریٰ نجران سے مباہلہ کیا اسی لئے ہم اس دن کو عید مباہلہ کے نام سے یاد کرتے ہیں ۔
Why do you celebrate Eid Mubahila?
After the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet of Islam wrote a letter to the Christians of Najran in which he invited them to accept Islam.
The Christians of Najran gave much thought to this issue and after deliberation it was decided to form a committee of sixty persons to understand and know the truth. The caravan enters Madinah wearing it. The caravan asks for the address of the house of the Prophet of Islam. It is known that the Prophet has visited his mosque. The caravan enters the mosque. Do not speak to them They come to Mawla Ali and say, "Why don't the Messenger speak to us?" This is what they did. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) received them and seated them near him. Mir Harwan Abu Haritha started talking.
Abu Haritha said: As soon as we receive your letter, come to your service so that we can talk.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Yes, I have sent that letter and I have also sent letters to other officials and I have not asked for anything except one thing: And accept the religion of monotheism, Islam.
The pastor said: If you ask to accept Islam and believe in one God, we already believe in God.
He said: If you really believe in God, then why do you believe in Jesus as God and do not abstain from eating pork.
The pastor said: We have a lot of evidence for this. Jesus raised the dead and gave sight to the blind.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The miracles of Jesus (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that you have recited are true, but God alone has bestowed these honors on them.
The priests were silent when they heard this answer and in the meantime someone in the caravan broke the silence.
He said: Isa is the son of God because his mother Mary created him without marrying anyone then Allah revealed the answer to his beloved. Has been created.
Suddenly silence fell and finally they resorted to excuses to save themselves from this disgrace and said that we were not satisfied with these things so it is necessary to argue in front of God to prove the truth. Ask for punishment on the liars.
They thought that the Prophet would not agree with these words but the Prophet agreed.
The messenger said: Call your sons, we call our sons, you call your women, we call our women, you call your souls, we call our souls and we argue together and we are liars. But they curse God.
Therefore, the day of 24th Dhul-Hijjah was declared as a day of controversy.
24th Dhul-Hijjah After the sun of Dhul-Hijjah rises, they meet outside the city in the desert east of Madinah. This news spread throughout the city.
The Christians of Najran began to argue among themselves that if Muhammad appears in the field today with his chief and his soldiers, then understand that they are not on the right path and if they bring their loved ones, then understand that they are true in their claim. On the other hand, the Prophet took Imam Hassan (as) and Imam Hussain (as) in place of his sons, Hazrat Fatima Zahra (as) in place of women and Hazrat Ali (as) in place of souls.
They were on their way to the battlefield when some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to him and said: O Messenger! Therefore, all the people should stay here and take the Prophet Imam Hassan, Imam Hussain, Fatima and Imam Ali to the field of Mubahila. Meanwhile, the high priest said, "I have seen such persons with the Messenger that if they point to the mountains, they will be seen moving from their place. If they point to the tree, the tree will move." The wind will appear.
If they raise their hands in prayer, we will be tormented in this desert and our name will be erased from this page.
So they did not argue and agreed to pay the jizya. Thus the falsehood of truth was conquered and this day was named Eid-ul-Mubahila.
عید مباہلہ کیوں مناتے ہیں؟
فتح مکہ کے بعد پیغمبر اسلام نے نجران کے نصاریٰ کو خط لکھا جس میں اسلام قبول کرنے کی دعوت دی جس طرح رسول نے دوسروں کو دعوت حق دی اسی طرح نصاریٰ نجران کو بھی دعوت حق دی۔
نصاریٰ نجران نے اس مسئلہ پر کافی غور کیا اور غور و فکر کرنے کے بعد یہ فیصلہ کیا کہ ساٹھ افراد پر مشتمل ایک کمیٹی تشکیل دی جائے جو حقیقت کو سمجھنے اور جاننے کیلئے مدینہ روانہ ہوئے نجران کا یہ قافلہ بڑی شان و شوکت اور فاخرہ لباس پہنے ہوئے مدینہ منورہ میں داخل ہوتا ہے میر کارواں پیغمبر اسلام کے گھر کا پتہ پوچھتا ہے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ پیغمبر اپنی مسجد میں تشریف فرما ہیں میر کاررواں مسجد میں داخل ہوتا ہے پیغمبر کی پاس آتا ہے پیغمبر نہ ان کے سلام کا جواب دیتے ہیں نہ ان سے کلام کرتے ہیں وہ لوگ مولا علیؑ کے پاس آتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ رسول ہم سے کلام کیوں نہیں کرتے مولا علیؑ ان کی بات سن کر کہتے ہیں کہ آپ لوگ یہ سونے کے زیورات اتاریں اور فخر و مباہات والے کپڑے بدل کر فقیروں والا لباس پہن کر جائیں ان لوگوں نے ایسا ہی کیا رسول نے ان کا استقبال کیا اور انہیں اپنے پاس بٹھایا میر کارواں ابو حارثه نے گفتگو شروع کی۔
ابو حارثہ نے کہا: جیسے ہی آپ کا خط موصول ہوا آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہائے تاکہ گفتگو کریں۔
آنحضرت نے کہا: جی ہاں وہ خط میں نے ہی بھیجا ہے اور دوسرے حکام کے نام بھی خط بھیج چکا ہوں اور سب سے ایک بات کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں مانگا ہے وہ یہ کہ شرک کو چھوڑ کر خدای واحد کے فرمان کو قبول کر کے محبت اور توحید کے دین اسلام کو قبول کریں۔
پادری نے کہا: اگر آپ اسلام قبول کرنے کو ایک خدا پر ایمان لانے کو کہتے ہیں تو ہم پہلے سے ہی خدا پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔
آنحضرت نے کہا: اگر آپ حقیقت میں خدا پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں تو عیسیٰ کو خدا کیوں مانتے ہیں اور سور کا گوشت کھانے سے پرہیز کیوں نہیں کرتے۔
پادری نے کہا: ہمارے پاس اس بارے میں بہت سارے دلاءل ہیں عیسیٰ مردوں کو زندہ کرتے تھے اندھوں کو بینائی عطا کرتے تھے ۔
آنحضرت نے کہا: آپ نے حضرت عیسیٰ کے جن معجزات کو گنا وہ صحیح ہیں لیکن خدای واحد نے انہیں ان اعزازات سے نوازا تھا اس لئے عیسیٰ کی عبادت کرنے کے بجائے اس خدا کی عبادت کرنی چاہیئے۔
پادری یہ جواب سن کر خاموش ہوگئے اور اس دوران کارواں میں شریک کسی نے اس خاموشی کو توڑا۔
اس نے کہا: عیسی خدا کا بیٹا ہے کیونکہ ان کی والدہ جناب مریم نے کسی سے نکاح کئے بغیر انہیں پیدا کیا تو اس دوران اللہ نے اپنے حبیب کو اس کا جواب وحی فرمایا عیسی کی مثال آدم کے مانند ہے کہ اسے ماں باپ کے بغیر پیدا کیا گیا ہے ۔
اچانک خاموشی چھا گئی اور آخر کار اس رسوائی سے اپنے آپ کو بچانے کے لئے بہانہ بازی پر اتر آئے اور کہنے لگے ان باتوں سے ہم مطمئن نہیں ہوئے اس لئے ضروری ہے کہ سچ کو ثابت کرنے کیلئے مباہلہ کیا جائے خدا کی بارگاہ میں دست دعا ہوکے جھوٹوں پر عذاب کی درخواست کریں ۔
ان کا خیال تھا کہ ان باتوں سے پیغمبر اتفاق نہیں کریں گے لیکن پیغمبر نے اتفاق کر لیا۔
تو بات مباہلہ تک پہونچی رسول نے کہا تم اپنے بیٹوں کو بلاو ہم اپنے بیٹوں کو بلاتےہیں،تم اپنی عورتوں کو بلاو ہم اپنی عورتوں کو بلاتے ہیں،تم اپنے نفسوں کو بلاو ہم اپنے نفسوں کو بلاتے ہیں اور مل کر مباہلہ کرتے ہیں اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت کرتے ہیں ۔
لہٰذا ۲۴ ذی الحجہ کا دن مباہلہ کیلئے قرار پایا۔
۲۴ ذی الحجہ کا سورج طلوع ہونے کے بعد شہر سے باہر مدینہ کے مشرق کے صحرا میں ملتے ہیں یہ خبر سارے شہر میں پھیل گئی۔
نصاریٰ نجران آپس میں بحث کرنے لگے کی اگر آج محمد اپنے سردار کے اور سپاہیوں کے ساتھ میدان میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں تو سمجھ لینا کہ وہ حق پر نہیں ہیں اور اگر وہ اپنے عزیزوں کو لے آتے ہیں تو سمجھ لینا کہ وہ اپنے دعوےٰ میں سچے ہیں اب ادھر پیغمبر نے اپنے بیٹوں کی جگہ امام حسن علیہ السلام اور امام حسین علیہ السلام کو لیا ، خواتین کی جگہ حضرت فاطمہ زہرا سلام اللہ علیہا کو لیا اور نفسوں کی جگہ حضرت علیؑ کو لیا ۔
میدان مباہلہ کی طرف چلے گھر سے نکلے ہی تھے کہ کچھ اصحاب رسول کے پاس آئے اور کہا اے رسول ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ مباہلہ کیلئے چلیں گے لیکن پیغمبر نے کہا آج مشیت پروردگار یہی ہے کہ مباہلہ کیلئے وہی چلیں جائیں گے جو ابناء و انفسناء کی منزل پر فائز ہیں لہذا تمام لوگ یہیں رہو پیغمبر امام حسنؑ ، امام حسینؑ ،جناب فاطمہ ص اور امام علی کو لیکر میدان مباہلہ پہونچے اب جو رسول میدان مباہلہ میں پہونچے تو نصاریٰ نجران کی صدائیں بلند ہونے لگی کوئی کہ رہا تھا دیکھو رسول اپنے ساتھ اپنے عزیزوں کو لے آئیں ہیں اس بیچ بڑے پادری نے کہا میں رسول کے ساتھ ایسی ہستیاں دیکھرہا ہوں کہ اگر یہ پہاڑوں کو اشارہ کر دیں تو وہ اپنی جگہ سے حرکت کرتے ہوئے نظر آئیں گے اگر یہ درخت کو اشارہ کر دیں تو درخت چلتا ہوا نظر آئیگا ۔
اگر انہوں نے دعا کیلئے ہاتھ اٹھائے تو ہم اسی صحرا میں عذاب الٰہی میں مبتلا ہو جائیں گے اور ہمارا نام اس صفحہ ہستی سے مٹ جائے گا۔
لہٰذا انہوں نے مباہلہ نہیں کیا اور جزیہ دینے کو تیار ہو گئے ۔
اس طرح حق کی باطل پر فتح ہوئی اور یہ اس دن کو عید مباہلہ نام دیا گیا ۔
